Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago — Amalgamated Security Services Limited, one of the Caribbean’s leading security organisations, has announced its expansion into the United States of America, marking another major milestone in the Group’s continuing regional and international growth.
Founded in Trinidad and Tobago more than three decades ago, Amalgamated Security Services has grown from a national security company into a significant regional security organisation, with operations and business interests across several Caribbean markets.
The US expansion is the next step in the Group’s long-term “Going Global” vision—taking Caribbean expertise, professionalism and innovation into international markets while strengthening its regional operations.
Speaking on the expansion, Dr. Michael Aboud, Founder and Executive Chairman of Amalgamated Security Services Limited, described the move as a natural progression in the organisation’s development.
“For more than 35 years, we have built Amalgamated Security Services through discipline, hard work, innovation and an unwavering commitment to protecting people, property and communities. We began in Trinidad and Tobago, expanded throughout the Caribbean, and today we are taking another important step in our journey by establishing a presence in the United States.”
Dr. Aboud said the decision reflects the Group’s confidence that Caribbean companies can successfully compete beyond their traditional markets.

The Group’s development has been driven by its ability to combine traditional security principles with modern technology and specialised services. Its United States expansion will provide a platform from which the Group can progressively develop new business relationships, partnerships and security opportunities within the US market. The move also represents an important evolution for a Caribbean founded company that has spent decades building its operational capabilities within markets that demand resilience, adaptability and an understanding of increasingly complex security environments.
